Please introduce yourself!
Hi! My name is Lara Margolis. I grew up in Tenafly, New Jersey and went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison for undergrad where I double majored in Spanish and Human Development. I currently live in New York City with my boyfriend Jack and I love to cook, read, ski, do any sort of arts and crafts project, and spend time with my friends & family (and rescue dog, Piper)!
What is your go-to coffee order?
My go-to is a double shot latte with skim milk!
What is your go-to coffee shop?
I like to branch out and try new places each day.
What is your role at Dripos? and what is your favorite part of your role?
I am a Sales Executive here at Dripos! My favorite part of my job is chatting with new coffee shop owners and hearing about their dreams coming to life and assisting them throughout their journey.
What do you enjoy most and least about working at a tech start up?
The part I enjoy most about working at a tech startup is the opportunity to learn the business in a way you simply can’t at a large company. You’re closer to the action and able to collaborate across teams, take on varied responsibilities, and gain exposure to many different roles. The pace is fast, the growth is constant, and it’s exciting to be deeply involved in building something from the ground up.
The biggest challenge is adapting to constant change. Priorities, processes, and strategies evolve quickly, so learning to stay flexible and not let change disrupt the quality of your work is essential and something I’ve grown a lot more comfortable with over time.
Can you describe a specific achievement at Dripos you are most proud of?
I was one of the top sellers at Dripos in 2025, an accomplishment I’m especially proud of given that I entered the role without any prior sales experience. With strong support from my team and managers, I learned quickly and grew into the role. It made a significant difference to be selling a product I genuinely believe in and know delivers real value.
What are you most excited to build, solve, or see come to life at Dripos this year?
I am excited to see more and more coffee shops go live on Dripos!
