Across its 13 locations, the shop employs people with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities, training and supporting a team that makes exceptional coffee in an encouraging, judgment-free atmosphere. For Not Your Average Joe, every cup served is also a chance to change how a community thinks about ability, opportunity and what a coffee shop can be.

Most POS and payroll platforms assume a baseline of speed and tech fluency that creates real barriers for employees with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities. Dripos implemented its core platform across all 13 locations, added a branded mobile app to keep ordering consistent for customers, and replaced a manual payroll process with one built to handle a multi-location, mission-driven workforce. The result is a system the entire team can actually use, freeing Not Your Average Joe to focus on its real work: creating meaningful employment and exceptional coffee.
