About the Shop

Leaflet Coffee House is an independent specialty coffee shop in Monterey Park, California, near East Los Angeles College. It has become a popular neighborhood café known for creative signature drinks, a welcoming atmosphere, and a strong connection to the local community.

Leaflet Coffee House was founded by Jayleen To and Joseph Basilio, two young entrepreneurs who grew up in the Monterey Park area. According to the City of Monterey Park, the pair started the business at the local farmers market and gradually expanded it into a dedicated café through sustained community support and their own efforts. The shop is best known for inventive specialty drinks—particularly jasmine- and pandan-inspired beverages—along with matcha, pastries, and a strong neighborhood-focused café culture.

Like many independent operators, Leaflet hit a familiar wall early: too many systems, not enough simplicity. They were juggling at least three separate platforms just to run day-to-day operations — one for order taking, one for employee management, and one for their KDS. After joining Dripos, everything moved into one place. Their point of sale, KDS workflow, online ordering, and employee management were unified from day one, with Payroll and Accounting layered on top to round out the platform. Owner Jayleen To has been vocal about how customizable Dripos is — and as time goes on, she continues to find new ways to put it to work.
